During delivery of Filtralite, it can sometimes be necessary to temporarily store the material for instance due to unforeseen delays at the delivery site.

Filtralite filter medias can in most cases be stored outdoors without decreasing the quality of the product. It should anyway be taken into consideration that the materials will, during rain, take up water, which will make the media heavier and more expensive to transport. During winter, the material stored outdoors can freeze into "blocks" that will take time to defrost due to Filtralite's good insulation properties.
