Filtralite Air 4–10 is a high-quality filter media, manufactured from expanded clay material, used for odour removal in air and gas purification plants.
Filtralite filter media, with its highly porous structure, enables a large microbial growth surface for biological filtration. Good storage capacity for biofilm and excellent permeability result in low pressure loss and long service time, which means reduced operational costs. The porous structure absorbs and holds water like a reservoir, which eases water trickling. Filtralite Air filter material has sorption capacity towards H2S and other odours, so the filter will start removing odour even before the biofilm is established.
