Filtralite® Clean HR 4–8 is a high-quality filter media, manufactured from expanded clay material and used for biological treatment in wastewater plants. In some projects, this grade is also known as “biolite” when used in biofiltration applications.
Filtralite filter media, with its highly porous structure, enables large microbial growth surface for biological filtration and reduced operational costs.
